SkillCheck Pacific Pty Ltd was established in 1994 by Managing Director John Lescohier with the mission to provide leading edge skill assessment technology to professional recruitment practitioners throughout the Australasian region. With over 15 years experience in recruitment, the time had come for growth and change.

In December 2014, after over 21 years supplying skill testing in Australia, SkillCheck Pacific Pty Ltd severed the relationship with the US-based company (controlled by a Bangalore, India venture capital holding company).

United States / Canada

Skillcheck Inc. was founded as a family enterprise by Jonathan and Nicholas Haber in 1988, headquartered in Boston, MA.  At that time, there was only minimal attention paid to the need for skill testing other than routine typing tests and perhaps a few paper-based quizzes.

Since that start as a family enterprise, the company has morphed through various owners, company names and is now controlled by a venture capital holding company in Bangladore, India.

The "SkillCheck" company is long-gone and a multi-national enterprise has substantially changed the direction of what was the world-leader in skill testing.
