SkillCheck Online (Internet-based) Skill Testing
There are various Internet-based skill testing options available from SkillCheck Pacific Pty Ltd or our New Zealand distributor, Hope-Cross Consulting. Each has its own benefits and each suits different user needs. These formats have been created to cater for the range of HR specialists who have chosen this method to verify examinee's relevant skills.
Over 100,000 online tests are completed every month and the volume continues to grow each month.
Tests may take several forms;
- perfomance-based tests where each question is a complete task and an accurate simulation of an application's functions, allowing any correct method to complete the task (i.e. inserting a formula in Excel 2003),
- skill-based tests measuring an examinee's level of proficiency in a given skill area (i.e. typing speed),
- linear-based (knowledge-based) tests which measure an examinee's knowledge of a subject (i.e. multiple-choice spelling),
- combination of linear-based testing plus situational audio-based simulations (i.e. Call Centre Customer Service Scenarios),
- behaviour profiling assessments to measure an examinee's ranking against others in one or more attitude or aptitude profiles.
